A few guests wished for more detailed explanations of the dishes, as they had to consult the menu on their own.

Despite minor issues, most visitors were very satisfied and plan to return again. Suggestions for improvement included faster service and a wider variety of sides to accompany the meat.

🥉 Platz – One of Tallinn’s Most Praised Dining Spots During Restaurant Week Estonia 2025

Ranked #3 in the FoodLover Restaurants Week 2025, Platz in Tallinn impressed guests with its high-quality foodcarefully curated menu, and welcoming atmosphere.

Some of the most complimented dishes included the handmade ravioligrilled octopusduck breast, and salmon in miso butter. Desserts were also a popular choice, though a few visitors found them slightly less memorable compared to the mains.

Guests praised the well-balanced flavors and thoughtful menu design. The service received excellent reviews – staff were consistently described as friendlyattentive, and accommodating. While some diners felt the question “Is everything okay?” was asked a bit too often, it reflected the team’s genuine desire to provide a top-quality dining experience.

A few guests noted that in some cases, wine was added to the bill even though it was initially offered as a complimentary house treat. The cozy and intimate ambiance was appreciated, although noise from nearby tablesoccasionally disrupted the otherwise relaxing atmosphere. Some also mentioned drafts from open doors affecting comfort during their visit.

Additional minor feedback included running out of draft beer, warm bottled beers, and a lack of table salt unless requested.

Despite these small issues, most guests were very satisfied with their overall experience – from food and service to the restaurant’s vibe. Many said they would gladly return to Platz, confirming its place among the top restaurants in Tallinn.

🧭 #4 – Mere Resto: Stylish Interior, Strong Flavours, and Room for Improvement

Mere Resto in Tallinn earned 4th place in FoodLover Restaurants Week Estonia 2025, thanks to its elegant atmosphereflavourful dishes, and signature cocktails. Diners particularly praised the meat and seafood selection, especially the three-fish carpaccio and the indulgent Dubai chocolate cake – both among the most memorable highlights.

While many appreciated the polite and attentive service, others reported that staff were slow and disorganized at times. The most common issue mentioned was long waiting times – in some cases, the main course arrived more than 1.5 hoursafter ordering.

Guests also pointed out order mistakes, such as incorrect cocktails, cold side dishes, or menu changes without any explanation. Opinions on the atmosphere were mixed: some loved the stylish interior, while others found loud music and hookah smoke disruptive, especially for a dinner setting expected to be more relaxed.

Despite mostly positive remarks on food quality, there were concerns about portion sizes and temperature – some found the servings too large, others too small. Overall, the experience felt uneven: the food and drinks were praised, but the service speed and flow of the evening left room for improvement.

Guests recommended that staff provide better communication, and that dishes be introduced more clearly. While some diners said they would return, others felt the visit didn’t live up to expectations.

🌿 #5 – Farm Restaurant: Warm Hospitality, Delicious Duck, and Cozy Vibes

Farm, located in central Tallinn, secured the 5th place during Restaurant Week Estonia 2025. The restaurant stood out for its excellent servicerelaxed atmosphere, and well-executed dishes.

Guests highlighted the tender and juicy duck breast and the apple strudel, which was perfectly balanced and not overly sweet. The service received consistent praise, especially for a server named Dmitri, who was described as professional and attentive.

The warm and intimate setting, combined with live music, created a pleasant evening ambiance. However, a few guests noted that the music volume was too high, making conversation difficult at times.

On the downside, some orders were delivered incorrectly, such as the wrong drinkware, unopened mussels, or inconsistent doneness for identical main courses. A few diners felt the special menu lacked excitement compared to the restaurant’s regular offering.

Other critiques included high drink prices and the fact that guests were charged for bottled water when they had expected a complimentary glass.

Despite minor shortcomings, most visitors were very pleased with the food, and appreciated the attentive service and warm setting. Farm remains a high-quality restaurant, but focusing more on details and consistency would further elevate the guest experience.
